Let the countdown begin!

Let's recap: though we've worked together curating exhibits and running a business for 12 years, we haven't worked together "making art" in two. As far as working as a collaborative goes - we were a little rusty.

With 10 days to go, to our first exhibit of collaborative work, we're pretty confident we made the right decision to work together again. We've met our criteria; it had to run smoothly, without arguments (and since the two of us live and work together with a newborn, this isn't as easy as it sounds); it has to be fun (this is chiefly the reason we stopped working together 2 years ago): and, we had to like the finished product (we do).

The project has taken shape. A false start lead us to throw away a couple weeks worth of work and rethink the whole project, but now its moving smoothly and there is a certain enthusiasm for the job that we haven't felt quite in some time.

So far, we've completed a few series. We'll share the prints in the series; Monkey Suit, right here after the Labor Day holiday. Keep your eyes "peeled".
